Look, we didn't just wake up one day and decide to build a cosmic-themed hotel. Back in 2016, our founder Sarah Quinthos was sitting in this ridiculously sterile hotel room in Tokyo, staring at boring beige walls, when she had this wild thought - what if hotels could make you feel something beyond just... comfortable?
Sarah's always been obsessed with astronomy. Spent half her childhood camping under the stars with her dad's old telescope. So she sketched out this crazy concept on a napkin - a place where guests could drift off to sleep feeling like they're floating through galaxies, but still get that five-star luxury treatment.
Three years of planning, way too many coffee-fueled nights, and one massive renovation later... Nebular Quinthos opened its doors on Robson Street in 2019. We've been helping folks escape earthly stress ever since.

Every corner of Nebular Quinthos tells a story. We worked with Vancouver-based artists and designers who get it - people need spaces that inspire wonder. Our interiors blend deep cosmic blues with warm metallics, creating this vibe that's both otherworldly and weirdly cozy.
We're kinda obsessed with the little things. Custom constellation maps in each room based on actual star positions. Fiber optic ceiling installations that change throughout the night. Even our hallway carpets are designed to look like nebula clouds when you're walking back to your room at 2 AM.
Honestly? We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we're dead serious about your experience. You won't find stuffy staff or pretentious attitudes here. Our team's been handpicked because they actually care about making your stay memorable - not just following some corporate script.
Thread counts matter, sure. But so does having a concierge who remembers you actually hate cilantro and makes sure the kitchen knows.
We're proud Vancouver locals. Our restaurant sources from BC farms, our spa uses Canadian-made products, and we'll point you to the best hidden spots in the city.
We can't exactly save the planet single-handedly, but we're trying. Solar panels, water reclamation systems, and a genuine commitment to reducing our footprint while keeping the experience stellar.
We've got about 60 amazing people keeping this place running smoothly. From housekeeping staff who make sure your room feels fresh every single day, to our night managers who'll help you find a late-night poutine spot when you're jet-lagged at 3 AM.
Everyone here brings something unique to the table. We've got former astronomers, trained sommeliers, certified wellness coaches, and people who just genuinely love making guests smile. It's this mix of expertise and authentic hospitality that makes Nebular Quinthos feel less like a hotel and more like... well, a really cool home away from home.
